Custom handmade decorative vase for your home or office. This vase is made from a single piece of reclaimed Norway Maple wood. 7-1/2"h X 4"w. Finished with a few coats of oil and buffed. The piece of wood I used was cut in such a way that the light creamy color of the sapwood highlights the fantastic color and grain of the heartwood. It will look fantastic in any room of your house or at the office. Makes a great gift!!
I am visually impaired and handcrafted this one-of-a-kind piece on my lathe.
NOTE: for decorative purposes only. May be used with dried or artificial flowers or just as a decorative piece by itself. DO NOT use live flowers with water!
Care instructions: Wipe dust off with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in water to clean. Do not use chemical cleaners.
The natural variations and character of wood may be evident by the presence of different coloring in grain, unique grain patterns, sap streaks or pockets, knots, etc.
Every attempt is made to get the measurements exact as described/pictured; however, due to each piece being handmade there may be slight variations in the measurements of each piece and there will be natural variations in the wood grains. Its’ uniqueness makes it a great conversation piece. Your friends and family will be amazed when they see it.
The woods that I use are local trees damaged by disease or storms and were destined for the landfill. On some occasions I do use exotic woods and those woods are sourced from certified suppliers who legally and eco-friendly harvested woods.
